The DHA Licensed Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders in patients. The role involves developing patient care plans with both short-term and long-term goals, maintaining detailed notes on patient history and progress, and evaluating patient progress to implement necessary changes to therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, screen, and prevent language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop patient care plans with short and long-term goals.
- Take detailed notes on patient history and progress.
- Evaluate patient progress and implement changes to therapy programs as required.
- Communicate with family members and teachers to design effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
- DHA license and certification.
- Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
