The Assistant Manager - Recreation will oversee the daily operations of the Recreations department to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction. The role includes creating unique recreation activities, implementing health and safety codes, training staff, and monitoring guest feedback. The Assistant Manager will also promote the hotel’s spa offerings and prepare the yearly budget for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of the Recreations department to achieve guest satisfaction.
- Create unique recreation activities that highlight the best offerings of the area.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety codes in sports and leisure activities.
- Monitor the success of activities and make adjustments based on guest feedback.
- Prepare the yearly budget for the department and drive revenues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation, physical education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in recreation, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
